Description

I don't know what to upload so here's a step by step :v

Step 1: Do a messy sketch. It doesn't have to be clean, but the cleaner your sketch is, the easier the lineart will be for you. If you don't know how to start, browse for references! This wouldn't have been possible if I didn't look at other drawings.

Step 2: Do the lineart. As much as I love the sketch, I can't just leave it like that....I have to clean it. :flop:  D̶o̶n̶'̶t̶ ̶w̶o̶r̶r̶y̶ ̶I̶ ̶h̶a̶t̶e̶ ̶d̶o̶i̶n̶g̶ ̶t̶h̶e̶ ̶l̶i̶n̶e̶a̶r̶t̶ ̶t̶o̶o̶.̶

Step 3: Add the base colors. I'm doing the grayscale technique (
⁵̷⁰̷ ̷ˢ̷ʰ̷ᵃ̷ᵈ̷ᵉ̷ˢ̷ ̷ᵒ̷ᶠ̷ ̷ᵍ̷ʳ̷ᵃ̷ʸ̷ ̷ˡ̷ᵒ̷ˡ̷). I like this part because it's ez.

Step 4: Here is the complicated part; adding the shadows...The problem with the grayscale technique is if you don't know how to do the shadows then the colors will look crappy later. I used the multiply layer here.

Step 5: You might think "Wtf there's a huge difference", but not really. I only used one layer here (Overlay), but you need to be good at picking colors. Then I added a gradient background, no biggie :)

Step 6: The fun part :happybounce:.  I added some thunders to make it look cool, and colored the sides of the character for awesome lighting effect.

Here's the finished drawing:
